The Q4 Competition wrapped up a full year here at Online Design Awards. ODA was started with the intention of, and passion for, bringing designers worldwide together to celebrate their talents and the evolution of design in the ever-changing creative world.
Each quarter, the skill level has grown with the community blossoming alongside it. ODA is proud of and thankful for every designer that has chosen to be a part of this community, whether it be as a jury member, an award recipient, or even just an onlooker, ODA would not be the same without all of you.
With Q4 Results recently published, let’s take a closer look at the winners of this quarter and what led them to be the winners in our most competitive quarter yet.
Online Design Awards Winners for Q4 2023:

B1 - Brand Identity
D2 - Publications
A handbound publication aimed to narrate the endangered Basque Heritage and Culture. With the branding themed around the “Winter Sun,” the blue hues and shadows of this work make the piece stand out as beautifully elegant and the ever-adapting and tasteful layouts throughout the publication do a magnificent job of visual storytelling.
A3 - Digital Art
A vibrant piece of art that takes a fresh approach to the traditional floral bouquet. The colorful submission crafted the balloons in a delicate manner that resembles traditional flowers but with bold colors that cause the art to “pop.” Every element, from the sheen on the balloon florals to the way they appear as though they could sway in the wind, results in a beautiful piece of work.
A1 - Illustrations
MO9 - 2D Animation
An enchanting illustration and 2D animation poised to represent femininity and springtime. The delicate illustrations created a soothing piece that has you feeling comforted yet also empowered. The already wonderful illustrations are then brought to life through animation. The simple way the animation continues to showcase the elegant and fluid movements take this piece into a new level of serenity and peace.
MA4 - Event Marketing
This marketing completed for the electronic music festival aimed to ensure a consistent and harmonized experience for the brand and its event. The colorful palette and playful fonts added to the eccentric and energized personality of the festival alongside a clean design that ensured every piece of collateral crafted was not only striking but also easy to navigate and read.

This branding project’s theme was to “open the door to a better way of experiencing architecture.” The B icon is the star of the show, representing a floor plan of a house with light shining through, expertly representing the brand’s intention. The concept of using straight lines and blocks throughout the branding, coinciding with excellent color choices to represent construction and architecture, reshaped this piece into something magnificent.
MO13 - Cinematography
A4 - Photography
This submission takes you into the depths of Colombia with the renowned World’s Best Barista, Diego Campos. The work, composed of both photography and a short video, does a magnificent job of capturing the essence of Colombia and the coffee which it produces, creating a work that allows you to almost smell and taste the aromas coming through the screen.
D10 - Typography
A sans-serif font inspired by humanistic design with a geometric touch. This versatile font works wonderfully with a wide array of projects. The depth of the font, including a total of 326 glyphs, allow its user to effectively communicate with this clean and lively typography.
A1 - Illustrations
A card design based on the recency effect - a cognitive bias causing the end of a message to be remembered significantly better than before. This phenomenon based on short term memory is expressed exceptionally in the illustration, with the closer figure clearer and more defined than the preceding figures.

This project places emphasis on the origin of the coffee it holds, identifying the diverse corners of the world where the beans are sourced. While having a focus on locality, the work also has a boldness to it that helps it achieve a striking appearance and stand out amongst others.
T3 - Mobile App Design
An app designed to craft an innovative live audio streaming platform. This new user experience allows you to reach a new complexity of engagement, allowing you to listen to audio directly off the mixing board.

This brand expertly bridges the gap of retro appearance with a sleek and modern interface. Vivid colors and a smart layout allows the modern software solution for car dealerships to stand out amongst the competition.
T2- UI/UX Design
A clean user experience for the nutrition coaching website allows the audience to seamlessly navigate the NuPerformance offerings. Engaging visual elements paired with a clean layout results in a website that is optimized for conversion.

This innovative and interactive website is unlike any you have seen before, with each click taking you through an intricate hotel experience showcasing the convergence of art and blockchain.
