Online Design Awards Q1 2023 Results

Our inaugural Q1 Online Design Awards competition has come to a close. The works submitted, alongside the outpouring support of this growing community has been astonishing. We are honored to be able to showcase some of the best creative works in the industry.

The works showcased below covered numerous mediums, platforms, and topics. From a moving motion graphics video about inclusivity, bold and astonishing brand identities, and some of the cleanest and most innovative UI/UX and website experiences; all art has a place here at ODA.

An innovative and inclusive approach to counseling that executes a well thought out design and allows college students and other individuals the opportunity for anonymous counseling or words of encouragement. The playful and vibrant colors of the brand alongside the cute and fun brand mascot, Bluebeary, creates an approachable and positive persona for students to resonate with.

A winning publication compiled by a group of talented students directed by fellow student Denise. This work stands out for its clean design and insightful content. The document beautifully captures the essence of the world’s diverse cultures, incorporating stunning visuals and well-crafted narratives that transport readers to different communities and cultures across the globe.

A bullet journal mobile app designed to help with productivity and goal setting throughout the user’s day. This mobile app design has a charming and happy appearance that goes well with its intention to motivate the end user. This app goes beyond simply task management with its high customization options and easy navigation features that allow you to create collages, document memories, and much more.


Fazunchar — Urban Art Festival — Diogo Ferreira


B2 — Brand Collateral


Branding for an urban art festival that perfectly communicates the festival’s purpose which goes beyond that of simply displaying art and more into the celebration of people and community. With a blend of creativity, a diverse palette, and a distinct urban vibe, the collateral for the brand communicates a festival that is fun, engaging, and memorable.


FinTech — Jonathan Kadima


MO2 — Storyboard Design


A minimalistic and informational motion graphics video that informs the viewer about FinTech. With a clean, simplistic approach throughout the creation of the video, the audience is allowed to easily comprehend the information about Fintech without being bogged down by unpurposeful elements.


Matteo Fabbiani — Personal Website & Portfolio

A personal website that captures the skillset of creative Matteo Fabbiani and his expertise in web design and development. This website takes the audience through a full interactive experience that is both easy to navigate yet innovative and engaging allowing potential clients to feel confident entrusting Fabbiani with their own website development.


QFinds — Elena Saharova


T2 — UI/UX Design


A fresh approach to the hiring process that increases efficiencies and creates a user-friendly process for both sides of the hiring table. A Q&A featuret allows candidates and employers to get to know one another at a deeper level before the interview process starts allows for a more engaging hiring process that hopes to increase diversity in the workplace. This alongside an engaging visual system and UI/UX experience helps cultivate a more pleasant job search.

This skincare packaging design takes on an elegant and naturesque approach. With its contents being eco-friendly and free from chemicals, the design does a great job of ensuring these characteristics are communicated throughout the whole brand experience.


Start From Where You Are — Paul Danhauser

S5 — Empowering Diversity


An inspiring motion graphics video that conveys the importance of inclusion and diversity in a unique way. Throughout this video, you are taken on a journey where differing and building shapes represent diversity and our personal roles we fill within our lives. Every part of the video, from animation, to script and voiceover is compiled beautifully and translates to an emotionally moving video.


São Torpes Font — Pedro Xarepe


D0 — Speciality Items


A bold and retro font that the creator designed with inspiration from the women’s suffragette movement. This font and its unapologetic approach does a great job of grasping a retro feel but still being modern enough to be applicable in today’s world.

Digital art pieces that embody a blend of lo-fi and retro styles that create striking and clean work that can both enhance other designs while also doing a great job of standing on their own.


Wild Gym — Wes Noyes


B1 — Brand Identity


MO3 — Art Direction


An energetic branding approach to motocross that aims to grasp the casual riders’ attention and encourages them to embark on a ‘wild’ and youthful experience. The art direction of this project took masterful positioning inspiration from brands such as Monster and Redbull and does a great job at targeting and grasping the attention of the energetic and fun demographic that participates in the sport.

KOOZMETIK Fine Natural Cosmetics — April Studio

A sophisticated cosmetic brand that underwent a visual system change to bring about a consistent, premium, fresh feel that embodies the products it sells. The packaging design itself is extremely well thought out, with simple yet artistic touches that communicate together to form a cohesive brand.


The Sixth Mass Extinction — Tofu Design

S4 — Social Good


A visually stunning project that informs and touches on the topic of the climate crisis. This work used purely 2D elements in an ingenious manner that creates a 3D effects that bring out personality in the animals designed. The manner the information is presented allows the reader to be informed while not being overly intimidated by what it represents.

A creative publication that showcases multiple artists from different generations in Rio de Janeiro. This work used a masterful blend of visual elements, sophisticated typography, and simplicity that allows the work showcased to truly shine.


L’Etoffe de l’Europe — Ateliers Adeline Rispal & agence Si and Studio-irresistible

S5 — Empowering Diversity


A largely collaborative work that fully embodies the characteristics of the EU and the diversity that it represents. With an innovative approach throughout the entire process, the artistic vision of these creative leaders resulted in a beautifully multicultural installation that will have a tremendous impact for years to come.

A1 — Illustrations


A striking poster design for the provocative film festival. The bold and dramatic illustration induces excitement with the bold colors and visual elements hinting to the explosive cinema the festival hopes to represent.


POBLE ESPANYOL — FONT Studio


B1 — Brand Identity


A completely updated brand identity for the architectural museum built back in 1929. The brand aims to embody the soul of Spain with bold colors, fonts, and many other striking visual elements. Font Studio does a magnificent job of creating a cohesive brand for the renowned museum.

This incredible website redesign took great care in showcasing the care, expertise, and detail that goes into crafting Rollie Shoes. The site does a great job of cultivating a dynamic, engaging, and informative user experience for Rollie site visitors and customers.
